Our growing law firm is seeking a bilingual receptionist with a strong work ethic and drive to grow personally and professionally. We exclusively handle personal injury cases.
The perfect person for us doesn’t have to have a specific degree or years of experience. The perfect person for us MUST have the following skills/traits:
MUST LIKE PEOPLE! You will be talking to people a lot.
Able to empathize with others going through traumatic events
Top tier organization & prioritization skills (you will be miserable without these)
Details…must pay attention to them…there is a test
Must take complete ownership of everything – we don’t do excuses around here
Must be able to speak up to help us improve in every aspect of our firm
Always do what is right - without exception
Must be comfortable with cloud-based technology and organization
Probably not what you are used to seeing in a job ad? Well, we aren’t your typical personal injury law firm! Who are we?
Our firm is Snellings Law, and we only help injury victims. We love what we do and the difference we make in peoples’ lives. Since all we do is help injury victims, we know a LOT about how to do it. Even so, we are ALWAYS looking to get better. That is where YOU come in – so let’s get back to talking about YOU.
Please note that you will not fit the firm culture and DO NOT APPLY IF:
You don’t enjoy learning – we are all lifetime learners, and you will be miserable
You don’t want to grow personally and professionally
You don’t believe in serving others (we do monthly service projects)
You put your own needs above everyone else’s – we are a family and treat each other that way
You don’t care about making our community a safer, better place to live and work
Mistakes are always someone else’s fault – we own them, understand them, and grow from them here
You don’t like being uncomfortable and pushing yourself
Humility is a foreign word to you
Still reading? Good. Here is a general breakdown of what you would be doing in your role:
Answering phones and providing a white glove experience as the very first contact someone has with our law firm
Routing calls correctly as well as setting up files for potential new clients seeking help
Tasking other team members to return phone calls if they are unavailable
Keeping call logs to ensure we know how often our phone is ringing, types of calls we are receiving, and other data points we track
Celebrating client victories
Job Perks
We are a medium size and growing firm, so you would be an immediate contributor to the team and see the impact of your work.
Each person that works at Snellings Law is an adult – except sometimes our high school interns – but they are close enough – and everyone at Snellings Law is treated as an adult.
We love to develop talent and we promote from within. You can grow professionally and personally with the firm, gain new responsibilities, and create your own pathway to success.
We love to teach – you will learn more than you ever thought possible about all things personal injury law as well as in lots of other areas.
You get the satisfaction of coming to work each day with a team of people pursuing a common goal: ensuring that each injury victim receives the best possible care and representation as well as helping to make our community safer.
The Catch
There has to be a catch, right? Kind of. You can’t be afraid to make mistakes – it will happen. We need you to be a self-starter that believes in yourself and your ability to grow into the amazing person you were made to become.
