Receiving Clerk - 1st ShiftEaton's B-Line Division is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position is based at our Sherman, TX facility and will work Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, documentation, and staging of incoming materials. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, material integrity, and proper system transactions while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. It's where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:High school diploma, GED or equivalent.At least one (1) year of experience in a production shipping environment (or similar environment).Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.Valid driver's license.Basic knowledge in all functions of SAP related to shipping.Basic computer skills in Excel, Word and E-mail.Ability to operate sit down and stand-up forklifts.Able to perform multiple functions simultaneously in the shipping department (Pulling, Picking, Wrapping, Staging, Loading, Shipping Coordination, BOLs, Monitoring Picks, Securing Trailers, Moving Trailers).Qualifications required within 6 months:Must be able to drive every type of forklift in the plant.Skills:Position Criteria:Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and execute projects in a timely manner.Ability to obtain internal powered industrial equipment certification.Excellent verbal, written communication and math skills.Ability to work without close supervision and work a flexible schedule.Demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to manage high volume of tasks and to be responsive to internal and external customers.Able to sign and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers, and process in a timely manner.Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate.Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.Must be able to frequently lift, push, and pull objects that are up to 40 pounds without assistance, occasionally 50 pounds with assistance.Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hands, arm and hearing protection (as required in high noise areas).We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
