Job Title

Essential Functions:

1. Contacts insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims.
2. Communicates with patients regarding accounts.
3. Generates patient statements and posts payments from all sources.
4. Coordinates and executes in-bound collections.
5. Works with collection agency to transfer accounts and keep updated.
6. Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
7. Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires claims, billing, research, and collections experience
• Requires experience navigating an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
• Requires excellent customer service, communication, listening and time management skills.
• Requires the ability to function with minimal supervision
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Working knowledge of billing software is preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
