Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving enclosures and other equipment when needed. This operator will assure the enclosures are maneuvered safely by making special adjustments, arrangements and by communicating effectively with other workers.Safely load enclosures and other material/objects onto forklifts.Inspect lifts to prevent malfunctionsDirect helpers in clearing areas where lifts will be used to move enclosuresInspect forklifts and other lifts for proper functioning, noting any concerns.Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skillsGeneral cleaning in the areaObey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulationsResponsible for any other tasks that may ariseWork Environmental & Physical Demand: Rotate sitting / standing up to 10 hours per dayClimbing on/off forkliftMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively, as well as frequent twisting and bending, to meet fast paced work demandsWork in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights (ladders, skyjacks and top of enclosures) and extreme temperatures. May work inside or outside to complete work assignments. Position requires exposure to dust and dirt.Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools and equipment.Must have a minimum of 2-year as a forklift operatorNeeds to have 20,000 lbs lift and under experienceMust know/understand weight limitations for proper forklift setuMust have basic knowledge of land signals for moving a loadMust have experience utilizing a forkliftMust pass a drug screen and background check for employment#J-18808-Ljbffr
