We have embarked on a CEO-led transformation, as part of our journey to become a truly purpose-led, future fit company.Key Responsibilities:Load outgoing shipmentsUnload incoming shipments and submit to appropriate shipping personnelExamine outgoing shipments for any product defectsAssemble cardboard containers or selected pre-assembled containersPost weights and shipping charges; affix postageRoute items to appropriate departmentsAssist Shipping Technician with inventory controlMaintain a neat and orderly work area, and assist to maintain an orderly and clean shipping yardFollow all safety requirements of this positionAbide by all policies and procedures of Dura-LinePerform all other duties as directed by managementRequirements:Manufacturing experienceFork Truck and other lift experienceSAP and inventory managementTeamworkReliabilityAttention to detailEffective communicationOrganizationSelf-motivatedCustomer orientationOccupational and/or physical requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable assistance.Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.Ability to lift objects overhead.Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects.Our Offer:Dura-Line is seeking a Shipping Attendant to join our growing Gainesville, TX team! The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
