Stake Flag Machine Operator

Schedule

Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts DuPont-style schedule with multiple consecutive days off Must be available to work assigned weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Operate a stake flag production machine while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor machine problems Escalate complex equipment issues to the appropriate technician Gather and load raw materials and production supplies Package, label, and palletize finished products according to work-order specifications Complete first-article inspections and routine quality checks Record production and quality information accurately Coordinate with material handlers to maintain necessary supplies Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Communicate safety, quality, and production concerns to the supervisor Help reduce scrap, downtime, and production costs

Qualifications

Stable employment history and dependable attendance Long-term interest in manufacturing and career development Manufacturing or machine-operating experience preferred Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Basic math and computer skills Good communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to understand production schedules and quality specifications Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Forklift and overhead-crane experience is a plus Willingness to complete approximately one month of online and hands-on training

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, stoop, crouch, reach, grasp, and work in limited spaces Lift and carry up to 75 pounds Work around occasional dust, temperature changes, and mild chemical irritants
