Denison is a premium aluminum casting and machining facility with a very diverse customer base, serving a wide variety of industries including aviation, defense, automotive, commercial, and industrial markets.We pride ourselves in seeking out talented candidates, who thrive in team driven environments and who understand that through teamwork, communication and a continual pursuit of excellence in our industry, we can accomplish great things.Summary Description:Clean/finish aluminum cast surfaces to meet customer part specifications.Essential Functions:Operate general hand tools such as hammers, files, punches, etc., for the purpose of cleaning parts; may include hoist operation, some machining, cutting, grinding, etc.Operate manual machines and power hand tools such as drill press, saws, grinders, drills, sanders, die grinders, etc.Perform general housekeeping to keep area clean and clear of debrisPerform visual and hands-on part inspectionComplete general paperwork for routing, scheduling, time reporting and qualityOperate mobile equipment and cranesMust maintain a Good Attendance RecordPerform any and all other job related tasks as assignedSkills or Experience Required:Must have High School diploma or GED. Forklift experience and equivalent job experience are a plus. Must have basic math skills; must be able to read/write English for use in general and detailed paperwork.
