Shipping Worker

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Worker to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing finished products for shipment by tagging, bagging, labeling, and packaging materials according to company standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience using tape measures, reading blueprints, and converting decimal measurements to fractions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Tag, bag, label, and package finished products for shipment
• Prepare orders to meet customer and shipping requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Accurately measure materials using tape measures and other measuring tools
• Convert decimal measurements to fractions as needed
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy before shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with loading, staging, and inventory tasks as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings
• Experience using tape measures accurately
• Strong understanding of decimal-to-fraction conversions
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
