PPG Industries - - Responsibilities: Repair, modify and install equipment or machinery to maintain and operate the facility.; Repair sophisticated equipment building systems by diagnosing problems and replacing or repairing parts.; Perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, motors, gear boxes, dies, extruders, feeders, rolls, drive chains, classifiers, mills, and mechanical seals and pumps.; Work in confined spaces, elevated platforms, ladders, scaffolding and roofs.; Promote and utilize 5-S standards for the line to improve efficiency, cleanliness and safety.
