Job Title

Works under the direction of a licensed nurse to assist in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients in a professional and timely manner. Performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Position provides direct care with limited invasives procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients
• Performing various tasks as designated
• Providing direct care with limited invasive procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Reading and numerical competency
• Competency in use of technology and computers
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Ability to demonstrate basic caregiving skills and essential job functions
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
