Acquisitions Manager Vehicle Purchasing

Location: Platinum Ford North Pilot Point, TX Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Base + Commission (Unlimited Earning Potential)

Job Description

We are seeking a driven Acquisitions Manager whose primary responsibility is to purchase vehicles directly from customers who are looking to sell not trade or buy. This role is focused entirely on growing inventory by sourcing and acquiring vehicles from multiple channels, including:

• Facebook Marketplace
• Online listings
• Street buys / walk-ins
• Referrals and private sellers

The more vehicles you acquire, the more you earn. This is a performance-based role for someone who understands vehicle values and thrives on closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase vehicles from private sellers
• Accurately appraise vehicles based on condition, market value, and reconditioning costs
• Negotiate purchases to maximize profitability
• Actively prospect vehicles through online platforms and local outreach
• Build and maintain a steady pipeline of vehicles
• Grow dealership inventory consistently and strategically
• Complete all purchase paperwork accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of prior automotive experience
• Strong knowledge of vehicle appraisal and market values
• Proven ability to negotiate and close deals
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Comfortable working independently and generating your own leads
• Strong communication and people skills
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience buying vehicles for a dealership or wholesaler
• Familiarity with Facebook Marketplace and online vehicle sourcing
• Understanding of reconditioning costs and resale margins
