This position contributes to our vision by:
Develops and monitors the Fabrication & Machining team process.
Manages maintenance and practice of safety standards.
Monitors parts production by implementing new ideas and innovations which will produce quality parts while controlling cost.
Ensures that all machinery is maintained in safe and good working condition.
Controls manpower to insure cost centers are properly manned to achieve schedule requirements.
Provides training and directions to employees.
Encourages employees to improve skills and seek opportunities for advancement.

Candidate skills & requirements

At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.
Bachelor's degree in related area (Business, Engineering, etc.) or 6 years related experience.
At least five years' experience in production processes, machinery, and equipment related to sheet metal fabrication, plastic forming technology, foam and adhesive/upholstery assembly, welding applications, and/or metalworking technology.
At least 2 years supervisory experience as a supervisor and/or superintendent in similar related work.
Must have experience maintaining a flow schedule of parts through the shop.
Planning experience a plus.
