Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Leader to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA!
How You Will Contribute:
- Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of department by managing workflow, evaluating progress, and addressing performance issues
- Directly mentor team members, manage training initiatives, and devise comprehensive training plans
- Oversight and ownership of Commercial Lines Department results
- Develop and implement business strategies in collaboration with PCL and manage strategic relationships with third parties
- Pursue cross-selling opportunities with the PCL, Marketing Department Leader, and other members of the leadership team
- Maintain relations with carrier personnel
- Keep current on marketplace changes and inform customers and necessary
- Manage own book of business and follow all requirements as outlined in the Account Manager job description
- Maintain quality working relationships with carrier partners
- Stay aware of basic appetite requirements and stay current and communicate to the team any incentives or commission increases
- Intimate knowledge of books of business, individual workload and key accounts
- Involve self on key accounts/relationships to strengthen bond with agency; advise PCL of any concerns with key/large account relationships
- Other duties or special projects may be assigned
