Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Cooke County Office

This person is often the first point of contact with the public seeking assistance or information from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Cooke County. Under general direction, the administrative assistant performs secretarial and clerical duties which involve independent judgment based on knowledge gained through experience. This person provides secretarial and administrative support for all County Extension programs and agents.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation or equivalent is required. Supplemental course work or training in secretarial or computer sciences is highly preferred.

Required competencies include computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office). The candidate must have reception skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task, along with a willingness to learn.

Equivalent combination of accepted education and experience providing the knowledge, abilities and skills cited is acceptable.
