Brake Press Operator

Job Description: We are seeking a Brake Press Operator to support production in a custom manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to form metal parts according to print specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to work on a variety of parts and move between machines as needed.

Shifts Available: 1st Shift: MondayFriday, 7:00am3:30pm 2nd Shift: MondayThursday, 3:30pm2:00am (Some overtime may require working past 2:00am and occasional Fridays)

Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake equipment according to print specifications and work instructions Select, install, and adjust tooling required for each job Interpret blueprints, travelers, and production documentation Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met Measure parts using tape measures and basic inspection tools Maintain high productivity while producing defect-free parts Operate additional equipment as needed (press brake, punch press, laser punch, etc.) Identify and report documentation errors, equipment issues, or tooling problems Complete required production and quality documentation accurately Perform periodic machine checks and basic preventive maintenance Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe working environment Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
