Job Summary
As a Depositing Catcher, you will play a key role in ensuring that the gummy production line runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the manufactures high quality standards. You will watch the machines, keep them clean, and make sure the gummies meet quality standards. Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
As a Depositing Catcher, you will play a key role in ensuring that the gummy production line runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the manufactures high quality standards. You will watch the machines, keep them clean, and make sure the gummies meet quality standards. Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Keep conveyors and sanding drum clean and working
- Make sure trays are clean, dry, and ready to use
- Spread gummies evenly so they do not stick together
- Make sure gummies move correctly on conveyors or into trays
- Help coat gummies evenly with starch or sugar
- Add the correct amount of starch or sugar at the right time
- Clean machines between batches
- Remove bad gummies (too small, stuck together, wrong shape)
- Report quality problems to the lead or cook
- Complete simple paperwork and batch records
- Move finished batches to drying tunnels
- Follow cleaning and safety checklists
Requirements
- Manufacturing or food production experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and safety rules
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork skills
- Spanish and English is a plus
- Physical Requirements
- Stand for long periods
- Bend, reach, and repeat motions
- Lift up to 40–50 lbs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment
