Job Details

The purpose of this position is to provide the City with efficient and high-quality water and wastewater services. This is accomplished by supervising the operations and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater system. Other duties may include coordinating activities of the departments, developing and implementing programs, evaluating personnel performance and interfacing with other City employees and citizens. Examples of Duties This position has responsibilities that require lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. The Utility Customer Service Meter Crew Leader oversees the installation, maintenance, repair, replacement and reading of water meters for both residential and commercial customers. Leads and supervises the work of personnel by assigning work duties; observing and monitoring work tasks; providing feedback to employees; evaluating work performance; and assisting employees to correct deficiencies.
