Position Summary
The Customer Advocate will serve as the principal communication conduit and post-sale support for the Account Executive and the home owner/business owner/builder. The Customer Advocate owns the sales support relationship and assists in the management of gas service installation by focusing on the coordination of internal systems and company personnel. It is the responsibility of Customer Advocate to guarantee that the customer expectations are clearly represented and met and to communicate proactively with customers to update them on their project's status.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer onboarding in a direction that helps achieve departments goals.
  • Provides the primary interface between the sales personnel and operations along with other departments within the company that assist in delivering gas service to customers both existing and new.
  • Participate in and establish trade show events that will maximize exposure and sales for the company
  • Ability to travel to various Company locations as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Background
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred. One year of additional year's experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service or project management with a focus on affecting change and helpful customer interaction.
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing or related field, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience of CRM system desired, preferably Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of Work Management and Asset Tracking tools. Customer Information System (CIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technologies. Salesforce, Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), and Maximo preferred.
  • Experience in process coordination or workflow management
  • Proven success in building business relationships

    • Very well organized and detail oriented
    • Extremely adept at follow through
    • A strong customer orientation
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a short period of time and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Independent, disciplined, self-motivated and results driven
  • Excellent computer skills; must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Compensation Range:
$24 - 39
We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitability compensation for all employees. The pay range for this position reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, bonuses, or other forms of compensation that might be part of the total compensation package. The specific salary offered will be based on a candidate's qualifications, education, and experience.
