Key Responsibilities:
Work Environment: As an Aircraft Systems Technician, you will serve globally, both at sea and ashore. Your work may take place in hangars, aboard aircraft carriers, in labs, or outdoors on flight lines. Collaborate closely with fellow technicians in various technical and operational settings with a degree of independence.
Training & Advancement: You will undergo training at Class A Technical School in Pensacola, FL, lasting approximately 26 weeks, where you will learn aviation theory, electrical systems, electronics theory, and develop essential technical skills. Post-training, you will be assigned to various ratings and locations, with opportunities for advanced training on specific aircraft and systems.
