The Automotive Parts Consultant plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to retail and installer customers. In this dynamic position, you will support store management in achieving operational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote and adhere to all company customer service programs such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, and Rock the Call.
• Greet customers warmly upon their arrival and assist them in selecting products.
• Support managers and installer service specialists in meeting the needs of professional customers.
• Complete necessary training related to your role.
• Provide outstanding service to phone inquiries by accurately identifying parts, quoting prices, recommending additional products, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Manage cash drawer responsibly, handling transactions with accuracy while following company policies.
• Perform returns and exchanges in a friendly manner, adhering to company procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints with a positive attitude.
• Assist in maintaining the store's appearance, including stocking, fronting shelves, and other operational tasks.
• Handle merchandise returns and assist with inventory management tasks.
• After training, operate brake lathe and other testing equipment.
• Conduct in-store services for customers as permitted by local laws, such as battery testing and bulb replacements.
• Drive a delivery vehicle for customer deliveries as needed (must meet company driving eligibility standards).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Ability to multitask effectively while assisting multiple customers.
• Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts and sales, ASE certification, and fluency in additional languages (Spanish preferred).
