Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter with 5-10 years of hands-on experience working with automated powder coating lines. This role is responsible for applying high-quality coatings using HVLP and electrostatic powder coating processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working with multiple coating systems while meeting strict customer and quality specifications.

Shifts Available:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am
(Some overtime may require working past 2:00am and occasional Fridays)

This position serves as the final quality checkpoint for all products processed through the paint shop.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply coatings using HVLP spray and electrostatic powder coating equipment
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated powder coating lines
Apply epoxy, polyurethane, and hybrid coating systems
Interpret customer specifications, blueprints, travelers, and technical data sheets
Ensure proper surface preparation prior to coating application
Lead and coordinate paint helpers to maintain workflow and quality standards
Perform visual inspections to ensure cosmetic and functional quality
Identify, correct, and report coating defects or process issues
Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations
Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately
Serve as the final inspection point for painted and coated products
