As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be crucial in ensuring accurate inventory management and replenishment in our store. Your role encompasses managing all inbound and outbound inventory activities, guaranteeing our sales floor is well-stocked to enrich the customer experience and support our sales targets. You will also oversee the flow of merchandise and maintain accurate documentation and organized stock rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire a service-oriented culture to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Accurately process all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Ensure merchandise deliveries comply with Company standards.
  • Prepare products for the sales floor, ensuring they meet ticketing and signage guidelines.
  • Apply EAS tags to products in line with Loss Prevention standards.
  • Update and input freight information in the system promptly.
  • Efficiently handle RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets, and markdowns following Company policies.
  • Train and guide the sales team on inventory control processes that enhance customer service.
  • Achieve productivity targets, including units per hour (UPH).
  • Maintain a clean and organized stock room, adhering to Company and State guidelines.
  • Comply with all applicable local, federal, and state laws as well as Company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Exhibit professionalism in communication and teamwork with customers, team members, corporate partners, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary.
