Inventory Clerk

Description:

Responsibilities:
* Receive incoming inventory from dock or warehouse staff. Verify and update current stock.
* Issue and transfer required inventory to production, quality, and warehouse locations.
* Monitor and replenish hardware stocked at point of use in production areas.
* Organize new inventory-open and break down boxes, build shelving, labeling.
* Operate pallet jack, scale, hand tools, label maker.
* Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
* Ability to stock inventory to shelving; ability to place boxes/bins, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.

* Climb up and down a 2-3 step stool.
* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the facility.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
* Provides prompt, courteous service to all team members and vendors.
* Ability to perform general cleaning and organizational duties to company standards.
* Ability to interpret and apply inventory stocking and controlling procedures.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
* Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Computer skills required. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office programs-Outlook, Word, Excel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* Prior work experience with inventory or stock required, i.e. retail, stocking, receiving, warehousing.

* Confidence when dealing with customers, colleagues, and senior leadership team as required.

* Be reactive in line with re-prioritization as and when required.
* Understand the needs of our customers while maintaining company values accordingly.
