Job Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a yard loader to handle and transport bulk materials.

• Perform daily inspections on equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance requirements or safety issues.

• Assist with loading and unloading materials from railcars and trucks.

• Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth material flow operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery in various settings.

• Strong focus on safety protocols and hazard recognition.

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable in physically demanding and fast-paced work environments.

• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and operating checks.

Employment Conditions

• Must comply with company and regulatory safety standards.

Work Environment

• This role will be performed in areas with moving mechanical equipment and variable weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand while operating heavy equipment for extended periods.

• Frequent climbing, bending, and lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.

• Manual dexterity to operate controls and conduct equipment inspections.

• Visual and auditory skills to navigate active work zones safely.

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive starting pay of $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
