Join Our Team as a Cashier!

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to work as Cashiers at our fast food restaurant. This position is with an independent franchisee and not Jack in the Box Inc. If selected, the franchisee will be your employer and will handle all aspects of employment related to this role.

Position Overview:

As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a friendly, efficient environment for guests. You will handle transactions at the POS terminal, take orders, answer customer inquiries, and maintain cleanliness at your workstation. A commitment to ensuring guests have an outstanding dining experience is essential.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Providing excellent service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with a friendly attitude.
• Handling cash transactions accurately and balancing the cash drawer at the end of your shift.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the dining and service areas.
• Learning about menu items and promotions to effectively assist customers.
• Collaborating with team members to create a positive work environment.

• Well-trained: Listen attentively, resolve any issues promptly, and communicate product knowledge effectively.
• Neat and Well-Groomed: Adhere to uniform and grooming standards, presenting a professional image.

Qualifications:

• Experience in guest service or food preparation is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old and able to communicate clearly in English.
• Basic math skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are needed.
• Physical ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift 15-25 lbs.
