What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely and efficiently operate the yard loader to move and load bulk materials.

  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.

  • Assist in loading and unloading operations for railcars and trucks.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safe operations.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material flow.

What Are We Looking For

  • Proven skills in operating heavy equipment in both industrial and outdoor environments.

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard recognition.

  • Able to follow instructions and work independently or collaboratively.

  • Comfortable working in physically demanding and fast-paced conditions.

  • Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and operational checks.

Conditions of Employment

  • The successful candidate must pass a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug test, and background check.

  • Must comply with company and regulatory safety standards.

Work Environment

  • This role involves working in environments with moving mechanical equipment, variable weather conditions, and elevated noise levels.

Physical Demands of the Job

  • Capability to sit, stand, and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.

  • Frequent climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity required to operate controls and perform equipment inspections.

  • Visual and auditory skills necessary to navigate active work zones safely.

  • Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
