As an Operations Leader, you will provide oversight in all areas of the store, assisting the Store Director in maintaining a convenient, friendly, and clean shopping experience. You'll lead and guide Service Specialists while conducting training as needed.

• Manage responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and addressing partner issues.
• Analyze historical data to anticipate future sales from promotions. Manage inventory for optimal in-stock levels while reviewing profit and loss data, providing summaries to upper management.
• Verify incoming inventory accuracy and ensure proper handling and ordering procedures.
• Open/close the store as assigned by following all required procedures.
• Conduct inspections to maintain quality control and food safety standards.
• Ensure deposit and change order accuracy; balance register tills and adhere to tender policies.
• Suggest process improvements to the Store Director.
• Communicate effectively to ensure accurate pricing.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers and assisting them with their needs.

• Solid understanding of retail grocery operations.
• Familiarity with cash register systems.
• Basic knowledge of workforce management and SAP reporting.
• Basic understanding of anti-money laundering regulations.
• Mathematical proficiency.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office functions.
• Ability to operate manual or electric pallet jacks safely.
• Capacity to learn new systems and technologies.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing safety hazards.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be at least 21 years old to drive for company business.
• Two or more years of relevant experience or equivalent higher education.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification, Food Handler certification, Fuel Operator C training, Manager Food Safety certification, AML certification, and HIPAA certification required.

• Ability to see, stand, walk, talk, and hear continuously.
• Frequent use of hands for various tasks.
• Lift objects up to 40 lbs regularly; up to 65 lbs occasionally.
• Engage in bending, kneeling, and squatting frequently.
• Work attendance is mandatory.

• Work is primarily in a retail store environment.
• Occasional exposure to cold and hot conditions.
• Exposure to wet or slippery surfaces.
• Occasional outdoor exposure and contact with cleaning agents.
• Noise levels vary from quiet to moderate.
