Description:

The Fountain Group, a national staffing firm, are currently seeking a Systems QA Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Tucson, AZ. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

  • Pay: $42 - 45/hour
  • Hybrid, in office 3 days/week minimum (M - F, 8:00am - 5:00pm)
  • 10-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget
  • This role supports R&D teams by leading software requirements definition, risk management (FMEA), and verification & validation activities for an on-market diagnostic software product
  • You will own requirements deliver for new features, assess and document associated risks, and update quality system documentation accordingly
  • You will partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, product, and other stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and tradeoff analysis
  • You will be utilizing tools such as RETINA for requirements traceability and LucidSpark/LucidChart for process/system mapping
  • Previous experience in an Agile or SAFe Agile planning environment would be beneficial, as well as exposure to Azure DevOps or Jira!

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or related technical field required
  • 3-5+ years of experience in software/systems requirements, risk analysis, or quality engineering
  • Strong software requirements writing experience
  • Experience in a regulated industry strongly preferred (medical device experience highly desired)
  • Hands-on risk analysis (FMEA) experience within an engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering principles including requirements engineering, risk management, configuration management, tradeoff analysis, and verification & validation
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with RETINA and LucidSpark/LucidChart is preferred!
  • Assay development experience, particularly with cytology specimens, preferred!
