This position will be a fully remote position./ppResponsibilities:/ppScrum Master:/pulliActs as a servant-leader for an Agile team, ensuring they follow Scrum practices while also helping them overcome obstacles and improve continuously./liliFacilitates team meetings, removes impediments to progress, coaches the team on Agile principles, and helps the product owner find techniques for effective product backlog management in Atlassian Jira./liliFacilitates and guides the team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework which includes organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies, participation in Program Increment Planning, promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values./liliWorks closely with the product owner and development team to plan and execute sprints, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews./liliCreates and maintains project timelines./liliIdentifies and manages risks and monitors progress against project goals./liliFacilitates Scrum events: Guides daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other meetings to ensure they are productive and achieve their objectives./liliActs as a liaison to improve communication between the development team and those outside the team, fostering mutual trust and respect./li/ulpBusiness Analyst:/pulliConducts process analysis and optimization to map, document, and analyze as is data collection, business processes, and dissemination workflows to to be processes./liliManages requirements gathering to elicit and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders and acts as a liaison between operational users and technical teams, translating functional needs into technical specifications./liliPerforms requirements analysis to determine feasibility and to decompose requirements to concise and testable user stories./liliCreates detailed user stories, including acceptance criteria, and any additional information to assist development./liliUses Atlassian Confluence and Jira for epics, stories, tasks, backlog management, sprint planning and Kanban management./li/ulpQualifications:/ppRequired Skills and Experience:/pulliBachelors Degree with 8+ yrs experience (or commensurate experience)/liliMust have experience working in Agile environment./liliMust possess leadership skills and experience./liliMust possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written./liliMust possess the ability to explain intricate and complicated concepts and ideas./li/ulpPreferred Skills and Experience:/pulliExperience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira strongly preferred./liliCertified Scrum Master/liliSAFe certified/li/ulpClearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust/ppCompany Overview:/ppGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
