What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Answer inquiries from patients regarding account charges, insurance payments, and balances due
• Set up payment plans when requested by patients
  
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Communicate questions and/or issues to the Lead and Supervisor when necessary
• Perform various clerical duties including collecting balances due and recording payments to accounts

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service/Call Center experience, preferably in medical or healthcare
• Minimum educational requirement: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver in a fast-paced team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Continuing education beyond high school is preferred
