As a senior counsel of employment law in our in-house Legal team, you'll provide counsel to allareas of employment and labor law for the business. This includes Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA), and analogous and additional state and local laws (including laws governing leave of absence and anti-discrimination). You'll serve as a strategic, hands-on legal partner to Progressive's Human Resources (HR) and business operations.
This is a remote position with occasional travel. While proximity to Progressive's corporate headquarters in Mayfield Village, Ohio, is preferred, it is not required. Candidates must be willing to work Eastern Standard business hours.
