Structural Engineer (PE Required - Remote Eligible)

We're hiring a Structural Engineer to support custom-engineered refrigeration projects, particularly in areas requiring PE-stamped approvals (Florida, California, and other high-risk zones). This role is remote-friendly and offers the chance to work on impactful projects that prioritize safety, innovation, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide structural approvals for walk-in refrigeration systems in hurricane and earthquake-prone areas
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams to deliver custom solutions
• Lead or support technical training for internal teams and dealer networks
• Maintain multiple state PE licenses and stay current with continuing education
• Support compliance efforts and new product development initiatives
• Some travel to U.S.-based manufacturing sites required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Active PE license (Florida or California preferred)
• SE license in California is a plus
• 5+ years of experience as a PE, ideally in project management
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and sheet metal design is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
