Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team!
This exciting position will assist with the coordination and management of qualifications and marketing proposals. In this role you will collaborate with theProposal Manager to develop standout proposals, gathering key content, ensuring submission requirements are met, and packaging professional, high-impact materials from start to finish.
Please note that for this role, we are specifically looking for individuals who can work on-site from one of our Pennsylvania office locations. This ensures alignment with team operations and supports effective communication across departments.
Responsibilities
• Lead development and execution of complex proposals, qualifications, and presentations for highpriority pursuits.
• Prepare proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), and SF330s by gathering, organizing, and tailoring content to meet client requirements.
• Write and edit project narratives, staff resumes, and cover letters that communicate value and differentiate the firm's expertise.
• Coordinate with technical teams and business development staff to ensure accurate, persuasive, and compliant proposal content.
• Lead assigned pursuit efforts, facilitating kick-off and strategy discussions, and managing schedules, deliverables, and reviews.
• Support regional marketing initiatives and assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, and pursuit graphics.
• Manage and update pursuit data in CRM/Unanet and maintain marketing databases including project sheets, resumes, and other collateral.
• In collaboration with marketing peers, lead the creation and continuous improvement of marketing collateral including resumes, project sheets, case studies, qualifications, and award submissions.
• Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual standards across all deliverables.
• Serve as a strategic resource and asset to project teams, providing marketing expertise and guidance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 4+ years of new business proposal writing experience (strong preference for experience in the A/E/C or professional services industry).
• In lieu of degree 5-7 years of related experience
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into client-focused narratives.
• Demonstrated expertise as a solid contributor with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with CRM/database platforms (Unanet or similar).
• Portfolio demonstrating successful proposals or marketing campaigns.
• Professional involvement in industry organizations (SMPS, AIA, ACEC, AGC, ULI); CPSM designation a plus.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
• Strong understanding of marketing and business development principles, proposal workflows, and compliance requirements.
