Support Teacher

As a Support Teacher at Guiding Hands of Pottsboro, you'll help care for little ones. You'll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels, documenting learning experience through displays and pictures, maintaining positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis, maintaining a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for all ages, facilitating and maintaining childcare licensing standards, and having a friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include previous experience in a preschool environment, strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents, an energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality, shows initiative; strong work ethic, and a high school diploma.
