Job Details

Operates large and complex specialized equipment used in the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Rotates into various job duties throughout the department to properly repair and maintain utilities in a safe and timely manner. Examples of Duties The following duties are typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competence and satisfactory performance of these duties. Other duties may be required and assigned. Drives, operates and is responsible for the safe operation of specialized equipment, including but not limited to backhoes, track hoes, bulldozer, dump trucks, frontend loaders, and flush vac equipment. May operate smaller or less complex equipment as necessary and perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
