Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you'll do:
This position is responsible for developing, planning, and executing Sherman plant manufacturing engineering activities including active participation and leadership of continuous improvement programs. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will lead the management of capital and non-capital projects related to improving plant safety, quality, and productivity; provide manufacturing engineering technical direction, and support training of plant personnel regarding equipment and process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support initiatives to improve EHS culture and reduce plant safety risk; Manage at least one MESH element.
Support continuous improvement including participation and ownership in the Sherman Annual Productivity Improvement process.
Resolve quality defects on the floor including direct support of the 8D process through closure within 15 days.
Development of capital projects including scope, requests for quotation, writing and overseeing capital requests through approval, development of purchase agreements, selection of vendor, resolution of issues, and execution of projects on time and within budget.
Represent Sherman in the VAVE and NPI process. Implement actions to support VAVE and NPI projects.
Provide technical expertise for fabrication, paint, weld, and assembly processes and technologies including laser cutting, punching, stamping, bending and robotics. Develop production capabilities and support constraint management within these processes
Develop Total Productive Maintenance plans for production equipment. Provide ongoing support and evolution of TPM plans.
Create Standard Work documentation for plant processes which support clear expectations through defined methods and equipment. Ensures the efficient integration of new processes and systems into the manufacturing operation.
Counsel to other functions in the organization relative to production feasibility and process development.

Bachelors degree in Engineering degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 4 years of direct manufacturing engineering experience
No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 70-mile radius of Sherman, TX facility will be considered. Active-duty military members are exempt from this geographical area limitation.
