The City of Denison is seeking a lifeguard for the Waterloo Pool. The position is part-time and pays $11.00 hourly. The location is Denison, TX.

The job involves ensuring the safety of patrons at the aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Essential duties include visually scanning the facility, performing water rescues, providing first aid, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The role requires lifeguarding skills, knowledge of customer service, and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, current Lifeguard Certification, and good interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical demands include frequent swimming, walking, standing, and climbing. The ability to lift and carry objects ranging from 1-50 pounds is required. The position also involves bending, climbing, and reaching above and below shoulder level. Employees must be prepared to work in various weather conditions and engage with patrons to ensure a positive experience.
