Your Next Great Adventure
The role of the Homebuilding Manager is to ensure Chesmar Home's is building quality homes on time, under budget, while taking ownership of each community and maintaining professional relationships with your internal and external teams, vendors, developers, and customers. Representing Chesmar in the community, developing strategies for growth, and planning for the future.
Key Responsibilities
• Reduce build time and increase efficiency
• Quality of homes
• Warranty satisfaction
• Identify, interview, hire, and manage Construction Managers
• Create a formalized training program for safety, product, leadership, and processes
• Cycle time and scheduling
• Preparing and monitoring home cost budgets with Construction Manager
• Ensuring homes are following applicable policies, regulations, and building codes
• Build relationships with internal team and external partners
• Managing a team of construction managers
• Bring new ideas, trade partners, & personnel
• Community appearance, spec, and model home appearance standards
• Manage cost control & variances
