Overview

Inside Sales Agent is a remote, inbound sales role with warm leads. You will handle inbound calls, consult with customers on their insurance needs, and match the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into policyholders. This role is based in Texas; applicants must reside in the specified location to be considered.

Compensation

Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr. The starting base salary is $45K with opportunities for growth. Average earnings range from $55K-$75K through a combination of base salary and commissions. Top performing agents can earn up to $85k+ in their second year and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls and warm leads to identify customer insurance needs.
  • Recommend appropriate coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into policyholders.
  • Represent the Liberty Mutual brand and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with a portfolio of products to meet individual customer needs.
Position Details
  • From day one, you will begin paid training in a remote work environment. All insurance representatives need to hold a Property & Casualty Insurance license. If you do not have one, paid training includes licensing.
  • Training extends over 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires.

  • Must be available to work a schedule of 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day with a mid-morning start time (example 11am-8pm CST). This schedule is expected for a minimum of 12 months before consideration for another shift.
  • All computer equipment is provided. Work-from-home requirements include a professional workspace with a dedicated desk and wired high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload). Satellite and mobile internet services are not supported.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years sales experience preferred; 2 years of sales/service-related work experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills to close sales.
  • Ability to communicate well with prospects and customers.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Strong typing skills and PC proficiency.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License (training provided if not currently held).
