UHS is recruiting for the Chief Executive Officer at Texoma Medical Center (Denison, TX), one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. TMC is an acute‑care hospital with a medical staff of more than 200 physicians offering major specialty services including open‑heart surgery and neurosurgery.

Position Summary: The CEO will lead the overall strategic plan for the hospital, develop and implement strategies to position the facility to achieve corporate goals and market its services, and drive superior patient care while fostering community, patient, and employee commitment.

Essential Duties

  • Leads the hospital senior team and participates in medical staff and governance strategic planning sessions.
  • Met regularly with hospital leadership to assess financial performance, evaluate forecasts, and ensure timely interventions.
  • Ensures compliance with UHS quality, risk, financial, human resources, and other expectations in alignment with UHS directives.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve overall patient satisfaction and commits to service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of acute‑care hospital and healthcare management methods, financial practices, and market trends.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and certification standards such as JCAHO.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and executive management skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse relationships among board members, physicians, management, employee groups, and the community.
  • In‑depth understanding of financial management, operations, strategic needs, and interventions at the facility level.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and communicate with individuals and groups.
  • MBA, MHA, or related accredited degree.
  • 5–8 years of acute‑hospital CEO experience.
