Position Purpose

The role is to develop, code, test and configure Apriso MES and WMS solutions for IPG. This includes supporting internally and externally developed software and application integrations. The candidate should have knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedureswithin the manufacturing industry and be able to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop functionalities using the Apriso Framework (Process Builder).
• Design, develop, and maintain processes between internal and third?party systems.
• Design, develop, test, tune, and implement procedural database code using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Contribute to prioritization and stewardship of customer projects, goals, and expectations.
• Provide support and guidance regarding best practices and development standards.
• Create technical design documentation that includes current and future application development functionality, database objects affected, specifications, and flows/diagrams to detail the proposed implementation.
• Create and maintain documentation relating to development standards, templates, and processes.
• Research, prepare detailed specifications, design, develop, test, debug, install, and modify computer software in various platforms in a complex and integrated systems environment.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in domains or business units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as an MES Application Developer; experience with Apriso is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience as an SQL Developer.
• Strong query, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Apriso Framework (Process Builder, Global Process Manager, Business Integrator).
• Experience in Apriso Screen Framework Development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, C#, ASP.NET, jQuery, JavaScript, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem?solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in performance tuning of applications.
• Advanced knowledge of T?SQL, including complex queries and best practices.
• Experience developing web application solutions.
• ERP experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player able to interact and communicate with all levels of management.
• Application of technical expertise with a business?oriented approach.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and independent decision?making skills.
