Infrastructure Engineer III

Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Engineer II will be responsible for the design, engineering, and support of enterprise infrastructure technologies across cloud and on-prem environments. This position requires deep technical knowledge of Microsoft identity and access management systems, Azure cloud infrastructure, automation, and security. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on engineering skills, system design expertise, and a collaborative approach to supporting enterprise IT operations.

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems including identity, networking, and cloud components
• Serve as a technical resource and provide Tier 3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and projects
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical configuration guides
• Design and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related security solutions
• Contribute to architecture and implementation plans for new infrastructure and automation initiatives
• Perform system monitoring, patching, and maintenance activities to ensure high availability and compliance
• Support automation and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM templates
• Assist with architecture reviews, capacity planning, and configuration management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new technologies, support deployments, and drive best practices
• Implement and maintain security controls in line with zero trust and identity governance principles
• Participate in documentation and cross-training efforts across IT teams
• Contribute to technology vendor and solution evaluations as required

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering
• Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Strong experience with identity security, Conditional Access policies, GPOs, SAML/OpenID Connect, DNS, DHCP, and encryption technologies
• Proven experience designing and supporting core infrastructure and Azure Landing Zone architectures
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates
• Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure services and security best practices
• Experience with monitoring, scripting (PowerShell or Python), and automated deployments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with AI technologies such as OpenAI, AI Foundry, or Gemini
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Intermediate v3, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CompTIA Server+, or Cisco CCNP Data Center
• Experience supporting security frameworks and implementing zero trust models

Work Environment:
This is a full-time, remote position that requires reliable access to the internet and availability during standard U.S. business hours. The role may occasionally involve after-hours support or on-call responsibilities for critical systems maintenance.
