Advocacy Specialist

Full-time | On-site | MondayFriday, daytime business hours (plus paid on-call rotation)

Anticipated Pay Range: $16 - $18 per hour

As an Advocacy Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for investigating, documenting, and resolving complaints or allegations reported to the agency. This role ensures that all concerns are addressed promptly, thoroughly, and in compliance with state and federal regulations. You'll work cross-functionally to support fair resolutions, uphold service standards, and promote a positive experience for both clients and employees.

In this role, you will:

• Receive, investigate, and document all complaints or allegations reported to the agency.
• Ensure all required reports are completed accurately and submitted to the appropriate state or federal agency within required timeframes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the investigation process.
• Maintain organized and detailed records in accordance with agency protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support on a rotating schedule once trained.
• Participate in orientations, in-services, and staff meetings to support ongoing learning and quality improvement.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment that reflects the mission and values of Angels of Care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with accurate and efficient typing skills.
