North Central Texas College is seeking a Gardner/Landscaper to join our Facilities team at the Gainesville campus. This position is responsible for maintaining the campus grounds and landscaped areas, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Maintain the flower beds, shrubs, and landscaped areas, including planting, trimming, mulching and edging.

* Pull weeds and remove debris from landscaped areas and walkways.

* Plant seasons flowers, shrubs, and other greenery as directed.

* Water lawns, plants and landscaped areas as needed to ensure proper health and appearance.

* Monitor plant health and report any concerns such as pests, disease and irrigation issues.

* Operate and maintain hand tools. Power tools, and equipment related to landscaping.

* Assist with campus-wide groundskeeping duties as assigned, including lawn mowing, leaf removal, and cleanup after events or weather.

* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and college policies.

* Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution.
