Type: Long-term contract with potential for permanent employment

Compensation: $57/hr including benefits such as vision, dental, health insurance, 401K, and holiday pay. Sponsorship provided by Cullerton Group.

Job description:

  • Identify and resolve technical problems directly
  • Work independently or as part of a team on complex infrastructure components and projects
  • Participate in testing and acceptance of infrastructure components
  • Collaborate with vendors on system integration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and patches
  • Design and implement processes and improvements
  • Interact with a team of approximately 120 facility support staff via Teams

Work environment: 100% onsite

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Manufacturing with 4 years of IT factory-facing experience, or
  • At least 5+ years of relevant work experience without a degree

Technical Skills (Required):

  • 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and customer support skills
  • Teamwork and relationship-building skills with IT organizations and suppliers
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including PC configuration and software installation
  • Proficiency with desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Basic networking skills, understanding of factory firewall topologies
  • Physical ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including movement and safety equipment
  • Availability for off-shift support and on-call rotation
  • 1-3 years experience with manufacturing applications (SAP, SAP ME, PINpoint, Lincoln Checkpoint/Weld Sequencer)
  • 1-3 years experience with Microsoft Applications (SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Cisco network hardware/software
  • Networking skills, including TCP/IP, VPN, routers troubleshooting
  • Database experience with Oracle, Snowflake, or SQL systems
  • Certifications: MCSE, Dell PC, A+ (preferred)
  • Understanding of ITIL support processes

Soft Skills (Required):

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and customer support skills
  • Customer service mindset and resourcefulness in problem resolution
