Serve as the focal point for the quality control and quality assurance program. Performs technical work of average difficulty analyzing water/wastewater plant samples and recording the results. Develop and or maintain the laboratory quality manual. Coordinate activities necessary to maintain the laboratorys accreditation. Arrange and conduct internal quality control audits annually. Performs a variety of standardized lab tests on water/wastewater samples to determine composition and presence/absence of chemicals or substances in conformance to Federal and State laws.
