System Administrator II (Senior) Harris County Onsite

Job Type: Onsite

The resources required for this project along with the necessary skills and experiences:

• 10 years of experience.
• Education Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• Able to plan, design, document, and implement various systems to include servers, storage, and server-based software applications (e.g., IIS, Communicator, etc.).
• Able to develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server backups.
• Able to monitor, plan, and coordinate the distribution of client/server software and service packs.
• Able to make recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and work with various vendors for procurement.
• Maintain excellent communication with the IS Management on all tasks and projects.
• Create and maintain good technical documentation.
• Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008, including Active Directory.
• Experience with Exchange 2003/2010.
• VMWare experience (VS 4.X).
• Other duties as required.
