Job Details

Under direction, this position performs complex plan review services and professional work related to the Building Department and Development Services; provides technical supervision to the building permit and inspection staff; provides information and assistance to the public. The Senior Building Inspector assumes responsibilities of the Building Official in his/her absence. This is a supervisory level position that may exercise functional supervision over subordinate staff and receive direction from the Building Official.
