Codescratch is currently seeking a self-motivated and talented Full-stack Software Developer with database experience to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a subset of the following skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in other areas. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing, and providing support in ticket creation and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes
  • Create and manage tickets in Jira
  • Document processes and projects in Confluence

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline in the technical field
  • 5+ years of related professional experience as a developer working with databases
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, ORMs, RESTful APIs, JDBC, Junit
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be local or willing to relocate to the DMV Metropolitan area

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in front-end development with VueJS, React, AngularJS, and NextJS
  • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Proficiency in an OO language such as Java or Python
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
  • Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing frameworks
  • Proficiency in ticket creation and management using Jira
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation in Confluence

Salary Range Pay range $120,000 - $165,000 The pay range for this job level is a general estimated guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
