Under the immediate direction of Lead person, the Equipment Operator/ Utility Person will safely perform cross-functional duties in plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation. Duties include monitoring plant conditions during operation, greasing and lubricating plant equipment, maintaining plant housekeeping, operating equipment, performing routine maintenance on plant &equipment. Additionally, safely operate plant mobile heavy equipment to include haul truck, motor grader, water truck, crane, etc. to bring raw materials from pit to plant in a safe and efficient manner at maximum loading capacity. Essential Functions. Must be able to or willing to learn to operate all other mobile equipment, including: haul truck, motor grader, water truck, loader and crane. Will load company trucks. Assist in plant repairs and clean-up. Perform pre-shift safety inspection on equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment. Report needed repairs to shop personnel.
